New BBC Two Doc to Spotlight Stephen Fry’s Career

LONDON: The professional life of writer, director, actor and presenter Stephen Fry will take center stage in the upcoming BBC Two documentary Stephen Fry: A Life on Screen.

Stephen Fry: A Life on Screen will feature commentary from Fry's colleagues and friends, who will discuss his more than 30-year career. The hour-long special is co-produced by BAFTA Productions and Whizz Kid Entertainment. It is slated to premiere on BBC Two this Christmas.

Clare Brown, the director of production at BAFTA, said: "BAFTA is delighted to have this opportunity to shine the spotlight on Stephen Fry, who has hosted our Film Awards with such great style for an incredible ten years."

Katherine Allen, executive producer at Whizz Kid Entertainment, noted: "Following the success of Julie Walters: A Life on Screen we are delighted to be working again with BBC Two and BAFTA Productions to create a another high-end biographical documentary with such a notable and well-loved actor."
