New Alternative Programming SVP for CBS

CBS Entertainment has appointed Sharon Vuong as senior VP of alternative programming.

A six-year veteran of CBS’s alternative department, Vuong helped develop The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey, the game show Candy Crush and the upcoming reality series Ambulance. She will report directly to Glenn Geller, the president of CBS Entertainment.

Vuong succeeds Chris Castallo, who recently announced plans to leave the network when his contract expires this summer.
