Swedish Sin, a five-part docuseries about Swedish porn king Berth Milton Jr., is the latest original production from Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group).

Helmed by filmmaker Jasper Lake, the docuseries will recount Milton’s rise and fall. Once one of Sweden’s wealthiest men, Milton was hit by a tax bill totaling half a billion kronor at the height of his fame. He also faced death threats from his father and accusations of forcing women into sexual slavery. In Swedish Sin, Milton, now 64 years old, seeks to prove that he was the victim of an elaborate conspiracy.

Produced by Stockholm-based production company Jarowskij, Swedish Sin will premiere across the Nordic region on May 17, exclusively on NENT Group’s Viaplay streaming service.

Jakob Mejlhede Andersen, Viaplay’s chief content officer, said: “This is a grimly fascinating tale of the rise and fall of one of Sweden’s most controversial figures. Streaming has revitalized the documentary genre around the world, and audiences are increasingly exploring uncomfortable topics. A dark, complex and tragic story that plays out against both the heights and depths of society, Swedish Sin represents a notable addition to Viaplay’s expanding non-scripted offering.”
