NATPE Spotlight: Corus Entertainment

MIAMI: Corus Entertainment will have representatives at both NATPE and Realscreen Summit this year, with titles such as Masters of Flip, Buying the View and Cheer Stars.

The property-themed Masters of Flip features the real-life husband and wife house-flipping experts Kortney and Dave Wilson. “Kortney and Dave will be the next household names in unscripted renovation series,” says John MacDonald, the executive VP of television and head of women and family at Corus.

Buying the View features dream real estate opportunities set amongst spectacular sceneries.

The doc series Cheer Stars follows a group of elite athletes in the sport of cheerleading. “With confirmed U.S. broadcast sales and a Canadian broadcaster, the series continues to draw interest from the international market,” says MacDonald.

MacDonald adds: “Corus plans to grow to over 150 hours of content in the unscripted reality and lifestyle programming genre in 2016.”
