The ’80s: Top Ten explores everything from the launch of MTV and Apple Macintosh to the Cabbage Patch Kids craze and Teddy Ruxpin’s rise and fall.

Every episode goes through a different top-ten countdown list, each of which were decided by a panel of experts, including author and financial educator Alvin Hall, pop culture biographer Brian Jay Jones, pop culture critic and author Jen Chaney, TV host Katie Puckrik, music professor Jason King, senior editor of Adweek and author Robert Klara, chef and TV host Carla Hall and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.

Produced by Lowe and Nutopia, The ’80s: Top Ten will begin airing on National Geographic on January 1, with two episodes a night through January 3. Disney+ subscribers will have exclusive access to all six episodes of the series on December 31.
