DUNEDIN: Nat Geo WILD has picked up 12 hours of natural-history content from New Zealand-based NHNZ’s dedicated archive unit.

The slate includes the second season of the unit’s Wild 24, an original series following 24 hours in one geographical location per episode, and season one of the tentatively titled original series Extreme Animals: Babies. The latter program will count down the most extreme juvenile behavior in the animal kingdom.

FOX International Channels Content Sales will distribute those shows.

“The team we have working on these programs are experts at crafting wonderful and innovative stories out of blue-chip footage,” said Kyle Murdoch, NHNZ’s managing director.
