Video Interview: Mothership Productions’ Kelly Webb-Lamb

Former Channel 4 deputy director of programs and head of popular factual Kelly Webb-Lamb founded her new production company, Mothership Productions, last fall. It caught the eye of BBC Studios, which invested in Mothership’s slate of global formats and ideas of scale across unscripted genres.

Across Webb-Lamb’s career, she has been involved in creating, selling, producing and commissioning such unscripted hits in the U.K. as The Apprentice, Great British Bake Off, Hunted, The Island with Bear Grylls and The Circle. She now brings that expertise to the new venture.

Webb-Lamb, founder and CEO, talks to TV Real Weekly about the scale and ambition of Mothership and the types of unscripted productions the company will be focusing on.
