After filing for bankruptcy in April, the Danish producer Impact TV, which specializes in non-scripted, has been taken over by Monday Media.

A large part of the productions, along with part of the staff, will continue in a newly founded production label within the Monday Group, named ImpactTV. The former owner of Impact TV, Thomas Heurlin, will take on a position as head of development in the new company.

Martin Dalgaard, CEO of Monday Media, said: “Impact TV is known for creating high-profile TV shows with a stronghold within documentaries, lifestyle and true crime, and we are very happy that we can continue the ongoing productions together with a group of great TV producers. And we are happy that Thomas Heurlin will join the new company as head of development; he is one of the best TV creators in the country with a special eye for cutting-edge shows.”

With the new ImpactTV added, the Monday Group runs a total of 12 labels in Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands.
