Jupiter Entertainment Promotes for SVP of Development Role

Jupiter Entertainment has elevated Chris Spry to the post of senior VP of development.

Spry, who spent more than two years at the company as VP of development, will be responsible for developing fresh content across multiple genres for linear and streaming platforms and amplifying Jupiter’s premium doc portfolio in his new role. He’s currently working across the recently announced docuseries Chicano Squad (w.t.) and shepherding an unannounced true-crime project for Peacock.

As senior VP of development, Spry will continue to report directly to Patrick Reardon, president of Jupiter Holdings.

Before joining the company, Spry served as senior VP of production and development at Hudsun Media and is credited for The Toy Box (ABC) with Eric Stonestreet and nearly 100 episodes of Returning the Favor (Facebook Watch) with Mike Rowe.

Reardon said: “Chris is a talented developer with a keen ability to stay on the pulse of new trends that come with a changing content landscape. He’s had a pivotal influence on the company’s trajectory and continues to broaden our footprint within the premium-doc space.”
