Spun Gold Television is producing the new documentary special Sir Cliff Richard: 60 Years in Private and in Public for ITV.

Sir Cliff Richard: 60 Years in Private and in Public sees the musician/actor discuss his involvement in a court case against the BBC over the invasion of his privacy. The hour-long doc includes interviews with such performers as Sir Barry Gibb, Olivia Newton-John, Hank Marvin, Lord Lloyd-Webber and Dame Joan Collins. It is due to debut on ITV in December.

Spun Gold’s managing director, Daniela Neumann, stated: “Sir Cliff Richard: 60 Years in Private and in Public is the most complete portrait of one of Britain’s greatest show-business legends, revealing what drives him to continue recording and performing, where he finds strength, how his faith has got him through the dark times and the secret of his enduring longevity and appeal.”
