HISTORY SVOD Service Launches on Xfinity

NEW YORK: A+E Networks has revealed that HISTORY Vault, the channel’s first direct-to-consumer subscription VOD service, is now available on Comcast’s Xfinity On Demand.

HISTORY Vault on Xfinity features a variety of HISTORY programming, including such shows as America: The Story of Us and Engineering an Empire, as well as the docs Gettysburg and Alcatraz: Search for the Truth, among others. The service will also offer weekly spotlight programs focused on timely and contextual topics, including Inside the Presidency. Recent and upcoming featured series and collections include Special Forces, Black History Month and Secrets of the Dark Ages.

HISTORY Vault is available to Xfinity TV customers for a monthly fee and can be accessed on television sets, online and on mobile devices with the Xfinity TV app. The service is also offered on iOS, Apple TV, Roku and Amazon’s Streaming Partners Program, with an Android rollout planned in the coming months.
