HBO Renews The Vow

The HBO documentary series The Vow, directed and executive produced by Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer, has been renewed for a second season.

Set against the backdrop of the federal trial of the U.S. versus Keith Raniere, part two of The Vow will offer an exclusive view into Raniere’s innermost circle. It will dive into the stories of NXIVM’s top leadership in the U.S. and Mexico, as well as those of DOS members. Following the legal and emotional journeys of the group’s founders, supporters and defectors, it will highlight the new evidence and revelations that come to light as federal prosecutors and defense attorneys battle it out.

The second installment of The Vow is slated air in 2021. It will debut on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max. The finale of the docuseries’ debut season aired October 18.
