Harbour Rights Inks Licensing Deals in AsiaPac

Harbour Rights has licensed a slew of documentary programs in Hong Kong, Korea and Australia.

Hong Kong’s Hoy TV acquired a 22.5-hour package of wildlife, food and cultural content, including four episodes of Animal Destinies, which explores the lives of animals in the African savannah.

The Hoy TV package also includes Wild Tuamotu.

SBS in Australia picked up Indiana Jones, In Pursuit of an Icon for its main channel and Reclaiming the West for NITV. It also licensed Oman, The Incense Road; Divas; and Morocco, A Musical Journey.

In Korea, AK Entertainment picked up three episodes of Special Ops, which takes viewers through armed combat through different missions of the French Special Force, and Stealth Aircraft, The Ultimate Technology, detailing the emergence of stealth aircraft since World War II.

These new deals come as Harbour Rights launches two new projects: Exodus and Unbreakable. Exodus, produced for Mediawan, reveals the behind the scenes of NASA’s Artemis space program, from astronaut training and lunar habitat testing to the development of the powerful rocket designed to propel humanity back to the moon. Unbreakable follows the journey of Nicola Doran, a world-record-holding para-swimmer facing the prospect of amputation and how she gets back in the water with the support of Jonty Warneke, an amputee who broke four Guinness World Records with different open water swimming challenges.
