Gusto Worldwide Media Appoints VP & GM

Carrie Gillis has been named VP and general manager of Gusto Worldwide Media.

In her new role, Gillis will oversee operations, sales and marketing at Gusto TV’s Ottawa-based studio and master control facility. Gillis begins in the newly created position on March 1.

Gillis most recently held the role of managing director of events and marketing at St. Joseph Communications—Media Division. She began her career in TV content distribution for CBC International Sales and Télé Images in Paris.

Gusto recently completed production on two new series, CombiNATION Plates and One BIG Recipe, as well as a new holiday special. In the last six months, the company launched on several platforms including Roku, Channel 7 and Samsung TV Plus. In 2021, Gusto plans to continue strengthening CTV revenue growth with its advertising monetization platform and produce new content focusing on second-screen technology integrations.
