TORONTO: Canadian food and lifestyle channel Gusto has set a programming schedule that features new series such as Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, and is also launching a nationwide freeview through January 10.

In addition to Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, which premieres tonight at 10 p.m. and sees Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg entertain guests together, Gusto’s brand-new programming lineup features several other star-studded series. For example, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver’s series Jamie’s Super Food Family Classics, debuting on November 15, is part of the channel’s offering, as is Lorraine’s Fast, Fresh and Easy Food from British chef Lorraine Pascale, and The Wine Show. The former will premiere November 16, while the latter will make its debut on Gusto on November 27.

In addition, Gusto’s lineup features hours of original Canadian content, including new episodes of One World Kitchen, starting November 14. The network will also air Jamie’s 15 Minute Meals, Martha Stewart’s Cooking School and Martha Bakes.

Gusto will offer a freeview available on more than 30 TV service providers across Canada, including Bell, Bell Aliant, Cogeco, Eastlink, MTS, Rogers, SaskTel, Shaw, Shaw Direct, TELUS and Videotron. The freeview will also be available through several CCSA partners, including Westman, NorthwesTel, Tbaytel and Novus Entertainment. A selection of Gusto’s exclusive programming will also be available with a free on-demand sampling through participating TV providers from November 28 to January 10, 2017.

“From learning to cook the basics, to upping the ante with healthier options, or learning from renowned chefs such as Jamie Oliver, Gusto’s new programming lineup truly has something for everyone,” said Mike Cosentino, the senior VP of CTV and specialty at Bell Media. “With nine incredible original series and specials in production, alongside exclusive acquired content, Gusto is poised to deliver the best in food and lifestyle programming to Canadians—and this is only the beginning!”
