GRB Studios Scores Deals for Multiple Documentaries

GRB Studios has signed a slew of international deals for documentaries such as The Center Seat: 55 Years of Star Trek.

The docuseries, produced by Nacelle for HISTORY in the U.S., offers a behind-the-scenes journey of the legendary franchise. It has been licensed to RTL (the Netherlands), SevenOne (Germany), Foxtel (Australia and New Zealand) and Bell Media (Canada).

The Center Seat marks another successful partnership between the Nacelle Company and GRB international distribution, and there is so much more yet to come,” said Hud Woodle, executive VP of international sales and operations at GRB Studios.

GRB Studios also scored deals for Death Walker with Nick Groff. Canada’s Bell Media licensed both seasons for CTV Sci-Fi and Discovery Europe acquired the second season for the U.K. Bell Media also picked up Living by Design for CTV Life.

In Australia, Foxtel acquired the feature documentary Meet the Hitlers, while Network Ten Australia picked up season six of the drama series The Bay.

CBS Reality licensed seasons one and two of Confessions: Animal Hoarding for most European territories and the docuseries Turquoise Fever for African countries. Also in Africa, Canal+ signed a deal for ten movies, including Bad Dad Rehab, Behind the Movement, Bobbi Kristina, Chasing Waterfalls, A Christmas Blessing, Definitely Divorcing, Love Under New Management, To Hell and Back, Jean of the Joneses and Coins for Christmas.

GRB Studios also scored deals for The New Normal, picked up by WaterBear, and The Ultimate Stuntman—A Tribute to Dar Robinson, acquired by Wicked Vision Distribution in Germany.
