SHERMAN OAKS: GRB Entertainment has secured deals across Eastern Europe for a host of unscripted titles spanning crime, disaster, paranormal and adventure, including Expeditions to the Edge.

KinoSvět in the Czech Republic acquired the dramatic adventure series Expeditions to the Edge, in which explorers make life-or-death decisions in harrowing situations; the paranormal program Missing Link, exploring phenomena such as divine manifestations, witchcraft, Satanism, UFOs and poltergeists; and Mysterious Worlds, which takes viewers into dark underworlds to explore the unknown, the paranormal and bizarre subcultures. KinoSvět also took the true-crime series FBI: Criminal Pursuit, showcasing some of the FBI’s most powerful cases.

In Hungary, Origo Media Group picked up three seasons and specials of the long-running, real-life hospital drama series Untold Stories of the E.R. Ukraine’s Studio7, meanwhile, took Anatomy of Disaster, which sees ordinary people share extraordinary stories of tragedy, survival and heroism. In addition, RTL-Hrvatska in Croatia went for the docuseries Auction Kings, following Atlanta’s most successful auction house owner, Paul Brown, who works with an eclectic mix of consignors.

“GRB spans the globe with our extensive factual portfolio—intriguing crime programs, gripping natural-disaster and exploration programs, as well as enlightening paranormal series and docuseries,” said Michael Lolato, the senior VP of international distribution at GRB Entertainment. “All of our programs, including the GRB-produced Untold Stories of the E.R., have been performing extremely well around the world and we are confident they will be well-received in Eastern Europe as well.”
