Fremantle Signs EP & Showrunner Josh Silberman to Overall Deal

Executive producer and showrunner Josh Silberman has partnered with Fremantle, inking an overall deal with the company.

Silberman is currently in production on the second season of Double Dare, which is produced by Fremantle. He also served as an executive producer on the first season of the rebooted game show, which premiered on Nickelodeon in the summer of 2018 and was later dubbed the number one prime-time show on kids’ television that year.

Per Silberman’s new deal with Fremantle, he will develop unscripted series for broadcast, cable and streaming services. He also will serve as executive producer on future projects.

Previously, Silberman has worked on such award-winning series as Fear Factor (MTV), Candy Crush (CBS) and Deadliest Catch (Discovery).
