Fremantle has bolstered its unscripted team with the hiring of three new executives, including MGM and Paramount alum Megan McGrath.

McGrath, creator and executive producer of the Netflix competition series Floor is Lava, has been named senior VP of unscripted development. Previously, she served as creative consultant at MGM and creative executive at Paramount.

McGrath’s credits include Are You the One? (MTV), Dating Naked (VH1), All on the Table (discovery+) and Twinning (VH1).

Fremantle has also tapped Stephanie Valentin and Emily Bon as VPs of unscripted development. Valentin joins from Main Event Media, where she most recently served as VP of creative development and production. While there, she developed and packaged unscripted series for major networks and streaming platforms, including Eye Candy. Valentin won a Critics Choice Real TV Award for her co-executive producer work on While Black with MK Asante. Bon also joins from Main Event Media, where she was VP of development. She served as an executive producer on Daughters of the Cult and was a producer on Girl in the Picture. She also co-executive produced Dated & Related.

The three new executives will work with Jimmy Fox, recently named executive VP of unscripted development and sales, to strengthen existing Fremantle properties and develop new programs and formats.

“Fremantle is already the home to some of the world’s best-known titles in the unscripted world, and our team is up to the challenge to identify the next wave of culture-defining series,” Fox said. “With each of their unique backgrounds and individual perspectives when it comes to ideation, I’m inspired by our ability to create a diverse slate of projects across a wide spectrum of genres for the U.S. market and beyond.”
