Blue Ant Studios Inks LatAm Deals

Blue Ant Studios has sold more than 125 hours of natural history and other factual content across Latin America.

Pay-TV service DIRECTV Latin America and the live TV and streaming platform DGO picked up the 90-minute #Racegirl: The Comeback of Sophia Florch, which follows the racer on a grueling battle to get back on the track after an accident, along with Tata: Escobar’s Widow, The Playboy Bunny Murder, Body in the Suitcase, Finding Satoshi and Coolest Places to Stay.

AMC Networks International—Latin America has picked up a package deal of natural history programming from Love Nature’s originals catalog, which includes Animal Senses, Mysteries of Evolution, The Wild Wild East, Africa’s Hidden Kingdoms, Africa—A Wild Year on Earth, Animal Empires and The Living Beach.

Bolstering the deal with the company is the acquisition of factual entertainment titles from Blue Ant’s offering, such as the first two seasons of Crazy Beautiful Weddings, the eight-part Great Escapes with Colin and Justin and season one of Custom Built.

Sociedad Televisora Larranaga (Teledoce) has opted for a lineup of natural history programming for its Uruguayan audience. Titles include Osprey: Sea Raptor and the hour-long Alaskan Summer, along with Africa’s Wild Year, Wild Year On Earth, Pacific, Valley of Flood and Fire and seasons one and two of The World’s Deadliest Weather.
