Food Network Expands Presence in LatAm

MIAMI: Scripps Networks Interactive has launched the popular lifestyle channel Food Network on Movistar TV Chile, which is operated by Telefonica.

Food Network Latin America airs such international hits as Cutthroat Kitchen, a cooking competition presented by Alton Brown; Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, which follows host Guy Fieri on a cross-country road trip visiting some of America’s classic diners; and All-Star Academy, which looks on as home cooks compete in a series of culinary challenges for the chance to win a cash prize. The channel currently reaches more than 8 million homes in the region.
