Discovery UK Takes Animal Clinic

Escapade Media has secured a deal with Discovery Networks UK & Ireland for the observational documentary series Animal Clinic.

The 18×30-minute HD series will air in the U.K. region and will premiere on the free-to-air channel Quest Red. Commissioned by RTÉ and from Encore Media, Animal Clinic follows the work done at Ireland’s largest animal charity, a high-tech DSPCA clinic in Dublin that provides emergency care to domestic and wild animals. The deal was brokered by Jessica Stonehouse, Escapade Media’s head of sales for the U.K. and U.S.

Encore Media’s Jonathan Levy commented: “Over two years we had the privilege to follow the caring professionals of the DSPCA as they went about their work. It’s really great that the series will be aired in the U.K., which is famous for being a nation of animal lovers.”
