Discovery Sets Premiere Dates for Tse Chi Lop Special

The new Discovery Asia-Pacific original The World’s Biggest Druglord—Tse Chi Lop documents the rise and capture of the criminal mastermind and fugitive.

The special, which features unprecedented access to law enforcement from the U.S., Canada, Australia and Thailand, examines how Tse Chi Lop allegedly orchestrated a $60 billion global drug business while remaining virtually unknown. The World’s Biggest Druglord—Tse Chi Lop is slated to premiere globally on November 14 on discovery+, as well as on Discovery’s linear channels across the Asia Pacific.

Tse Chi Lop was arrested in Amsterdam in January 2021 through a collaborative effort of more than 20 countries and organizations, including Interpol and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, in a sting led by the Australian Federal Police. The World’s Biggest Druglord—Tse Chi Lop unpacks Tse Chi Lop’s character to reveal the druglord’s business insights and entrepreneurial strategies, exploring how he capitalized on the shift in consumer demand to the tune of billions of dollars until his capture.

The World’s Biggest Druglord—Tse Chi Lop will premiere globally on November 14 on discovery+. In the Asia Pacific, the documentary will also broadcast on Discovery Channel in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Japan on November 14, Discovery Channel in Australia on November 15 and on Three in New Zealand on November 16.
