Discovery Launching COVID Vaccine Doc

The Vaccine: Conquering COVID, a new documentary exploring the cutting-edge science behind creating a vaccine to tackle COVID-19, is rolling out on Discovery and discovery+ next month.

The doc will explore what it takes to create a vaccine in record time to eradicate a global pandemic, what measures are in place to ensure its safety and how did the world’s leading doctors and healthcare experts develop it. The Vaccine: Conquering COVID will premiere on February 21 via Discovery and discovery+. It will also air on February 22 on the Science Channel.

The Vaccine: Conquering COVID features interviews with doctors involved, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; Dr. Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health; and Dr. John Mascola of the National Institutes of Health, as well as interviews with scientists from pharmaceutical companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer.

The Vaccine: Conquering COVID is produced by Glass Entertainment Group for Discovery.
