Destination America Orders Paranormal Series from Wild Dream Films

CARDIFF: Destination America has commissioned U.K.-based Wild Dream Films’ latest factual series, tentatively titled Terror in the Woods.

The eight-part series investigates unexplained paranormal encounters in the wild. The hour-long episodes explore real-life stories of people who set out on outdoor adventures such as gator hunting or ice fishing and became frightened by ghosts, monsters or other unexplained phenomena.

Distribution360 will represent the series internationally and has begun discussions with broadcasters and platforms regarding presales in several markets. Terror in the Woods is produced by Wild Dream Films and Destination America. For Wild Dream Films, Stuart Clarke serves as executive producer, while Cathy Garland is executive producer for Destination America.
