DCD Rights has inked a number of deals for the popular culinary show James Martin’s French Adventure, as well as the upcoming series Nadiya’s Food Adventure.

James Martin’s French Adventure is produced by Blue Marlin Television for ITV in the U.K. The 20-episode show has been snapped up by VRT in Belgium, Matkanalen in Norway and 24Kitchen in the Netherlands. It was previously licensed by broadcasters in Australia, New Zealand and Poland, as well as through pan-territory agreements in Central Europe and Asia.

At next month’s MIPCOM, DCD Rights plans to present Saturday Morning with James Martin, which is also produced by Blue Marlin for ITV, as well as Nadiya’s Food Adventure, a BBC Studios production for BBC Two. The latter 8×30-minute series looks on as the titular chef travels across the U.K. It has already been acquired by Choice TV in New Zealand and Foxtel in Australia.

Nicky Davies Williams, the CEO at DCD Rights, stated: “James Martin’s French Adventure was a real stand-out hit for us when we launched the series in Cannes earlier this year, with James in attendance, so we’re delighted to see this strong interest translate into a range of international deals. Engaging and inspiring hosts are always key to successful culinary content, so we’re very pleased not only to secure the next much-anticipated series from James Martin, but also to welcome Nadiya Hussain and her relatable, down-to-earth style of cookery and presentation to the DCD family.”
