Curious Films & Picture Zero Align for The People vs Climate Change

Curious Films and Picture Zero are producing for BBC iPlayer The People vs Climate Change, a documentary that centers on the U.K. Climate Assembly.

The People vs Climate Change follows the panel’s 108 members as they debate the complex challenges of tackling the climate crisis in a fair way and make proposals to Parliament. Given briefings from scientists and experts such as Sir David Attenborough and engaging in discussion and debate, the panel develops a series of recommendations.

The documentary tracks the personal journeys of those on the panel as they learn more about the science and shows how people formerly disengaged from the climate debate become net-zero advocates.

The People vs Climate Change is a co-production from Curious Films and Picture Zero. It is narrated by BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, directed by Harriet Bird and executive produced by Charlie Russell and Dov Freedman. The documentary has been made with the support of The Doc Society Climate Story Fund and the BFI Doc Society Production SOS Fund.
