A+E Networks UK has launched Crime+Investigation Play on Amazon Prime Video Channels with its library of true-crime titles.
Crime+Investigation Play is now available to Prime members in the U.K. for an add on monthly subscription fee following a seven-day free trial via the existing Prime Video app. Subscribers will have access to true-crime shows such as Robbie Coltrane’s Critical Evidence (season one), Homicide Hunter (season three) and the docuseries The Jail: 60 Days In (season four).
History Play launched on Prime Video Channels on May 2, bringing audiences a catalog of documentaries and factual series on demand, including WW2 Treasure Hunters, The Curse of Oak Island and Hunting Hitler.
Adrian Pilkington, senior VP of commercial strategy at A+E Networks UK, said: “As the home of true crime, launching Crime+Investigation Play on Amazon Prime Video Channels means we can reach more fans of the true-crime genre and share our world-class content of groundbreaking documentaries and global hit series with new audiences.”
