Cream Productions has entered into a co-production partnership with actor, host and producer Dominic Monaghan and his production company, Monkey Spunk.

Under the deal, Cream and Monaghan will create, develop and produce unscripted programming as well as AR/VR content. They are already partnering on a nature-adventure series that brings viewers around the world with Monaghan as he tracks down some of his dream animals and shows how wildlife and adventure programs are filmed. The entities are also partnered on Be Curious, a VR/human avatar project that uses an avatar of Monaghan to take users on a journey through the intersection of mankind, climate change and artificial intelligence.

Monaghan has previously starred in and served as executive producer for multiple Cream projects, including A Curious Mind for Hulu and the Emmy Award- and Critics Choice Award-nominated Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan on Animal Planet, Travel Channel and BBC America.

Monaghan said: “Raising awareness about natural history and conservation is a massive passion of mine. Collaborating with Dave Brady and Cream has been a fantastic journey so far and I’m excited to get back out into the far-flung places of the world as soon as possible.”

David Brady, CEO of Cream, added: “Dominic is a long-time collaborator and friend. We both share a passion for pushing the boundaries of storytelling, never yielding to traditional techniques and technologies. His steadfast commitment to premium is inspiring and I know this partnership will produce incredible experiences and projects, regardless of genre, platform or medium.”
