The new family-friendly series Crash Test World, from ProjectExplorer and Andrew Zimmern’s Intuitive Content, is to premiere in the U.S. and Canada this week.

Escapade Media had previously clinched the deal that sees the 6×30-minute series launching on Science Channel on January 8 at 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. Hosted by Kari Byron from the popular Discovery show MythBusters, Crash Test World takes viewers on a journey to explore how history, technology, culture and people come together to make the world a better place.

“ProjectExplorer’s mission is to bring the world into classrooms and living rooms with free video content and curricula that foster global awareness and cross-cultural understanding,” said ProjectExplorer founder, executive director, producer and show creator, Jenny Buccos. “The series continues to spread our message about our commitment to informing our children about international affairs—and demonstrate how much all people have in common, regardless of borders.”
