A&E is set to launch the new live event series Court Night LIVE, produced by Big Fish Entertainment.

Hosted by Vinnie Politan and Judge Greg Mathis, and with analysis from retired Judge Vonda Evans, Court Night LIVE will showcase civil cases from pop-up courtrooms across the U.S. As the cases are litigated live in front of a gallery of community members, viewers will have the chance to have their voices heard by voting on the verdicts in select cases in real time via text message.

Court Night LIVE will premiere on A&E on August 10 and will be available on demand and to stream on the A&E app and AETV.com. A+E Networks holds worldwide distribution rights.

Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive VP and head of programming for A&E, said: “Court Night LIVE will combine the inherent drama of live civil court proceedings with context and expert legal analysis, elevating the traditional court shows that have been a staple of the television landscape for decades. Court Night LIVE gives viewers a chance to experience public trials live in the virtual courtroom gallery on air.”
