Cineflix Rights Closes Factual Deals in Europe

Cineflix Rights has closed a slew of factual deals with broadcasters across CEE, including in Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic.

The first two seasons of A New Life in the Sun, originally produced by True North for Channel 4, were picked up by Antenna Entertainment for its AXA Spin channels across Poland, Romania and the Adriatic.

Antenna Entertainment also acquired seasons seven and eight of Château DIY, produced by Spark Media Partners, for its AXA Spin channel in Poland.

CANAL+ Polska licensed several food and travel series fronted by celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott for its CANAL+ Kuchnia channel. This includes Ainsley’s Taste of Malta and the second season of Ainsley’s Fantastic Flavours, both of which come from Rock Oyster Media Productions. CANAL+ Polska also picked up season two of Château DIY for its CANAL+ Domo channel in Poland.

Česká televize signed a deal for Galaxie Presse’s Commando Missions, which recounts the top-secret operations behind enemy lines that were part of the Allies’ strategy against Hitler’s Reich.

In Greece, Tanweer picked up a host of Rock Oyster Media Productions titles, including Ainsley’s Taste of Malta, Ainsley’s Fantastic Flavours, Jason Atherton’s Dubai Dishes, Jimmy & Shivi’s Farmhouse Breakfast and Dermot’s Taste of Ireland.
