TORONTO: Blue Ant Media’s lifestyle specialty channel Makeful is debuting new original series, including Taste of the Country, this spring and will also launch a four-week free preview across Canada that kicks off February 29.

Makeful’s March lineup will feature two brand-new original series, Taste of the Country, which follows Danielle French as she hosts rustic weddings and parties at her country estate, and Post My Party, about DIY event planner Lynzie Kent. The shows will premiere back-to-back on Sunday, March 13, with Post My Party airing at 8 p.m. and Taste of the Country at 8:30 p.m. In addition to these two shows, the free preview will give Canadian viewers access to new episodes of Endless Yard Sale Showdown, Holiday Makeover and Portrait Artist of the Year.

Makeful will also stream originally produced short-form videos online on Makeful TV, including more than 100 digital shorts due to roll out this year. These shorts will feature DIY projects, helpful tips and profiles of Makeful TV hosts, as well as talented makers from the channel’s online community.

“This spring we’re excited to share our first batch of original series to hit Makeful’s lineup, Post My Party and Taste of the Country, which reflect the creativity and talent of our growing maker community,” said Vanessa Case, the executive VP of content at Blue Ant Media. “From baking and decorating to craft creation and sketching, our new schedule delivers on the promise of providing inspirational handmade ideas and gives our viewers the content they love.”
