Blue Ant’s Love Nature Lands in Australia

Blue Ant Media’s wildlife and nature brand Love Nature has debuted in Australia as a premium linear subscription channel on Fetch TV.

The channel launched in time for Fetch Knowledge and Ultimate Channel Packs subscribers to tune in to Love Nature’s week-long Love Earth programming event beginning on April 17. The event will showcase a variety of special titles in honor of Earth Day, including Chasing the Rains, narrated by Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton, Invictus).

Chasing the Rains, which will premiere on Earth Day, April 22, follows various animals as they fight to survive beyond the jagged peaks of Mount Kenya during one of Africa’s worst droughts in 20 years. This includes a heroic cheetah mother defending her precious cubs against attacks from rival predators, a rare wild dog pack battling a vicious hyena clan in the search for food and water and a Samburu elephant herd using intelligence and resilience to locate water.

Additional Love Nature programming includes Uptown Otters, a six-parter examining the urban wildlife story of three otter families in Singapore. The species was once declared locally extinct in the 1970s but have now made the ultimate comeback with 120 otters now vying for survival in the city’s Marina Bay.

Other titles are Planet Shark, revealing new scientific discovers and footage of 28 species of sharks across six countries; New Kids in the Wild, following the first crucial months in the lives of baby animals; Osprey: Sea Raptor, narrated by Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones), seeing a pair of raptors reunite year after year after year to raise their young; and Becoming Orangutan, offering viewers an intimate look inside the world’s largest orangutan rehabilitation center in Borneo.
