Blue Ant Studios Taps Marine Ksadzhikyan for Sales Role

Blue Ant Studios has appointed Marine Ksadzhikyan to the newly created role of VP of content sales.

Ksadzhikyan will focus on identifying further growth opportunities across all platforms in the U.S. Leveraging Blue Ant Studios’ catalog of over 7,000 hours of content, she will look to secure a wide range of partnership models with key players across owned series and third-party programming.

Ksadzhikyan joins from Rive Gauche Television, where she was executive VP of sales. Prior to that, she also held the roles of director of international sales at GRB Entertainment and international sales consultant at Rocket Rights.

At Blue Ant Studios, Ksadzhikyan will report to Bryan Gabourie, senior VP of international sales and partnerships.

“Marine’s vast knowledge, robust experience and deep relationships with U.S. and global partners will play a critical role in the continued growth of Blue Ant in the U.S. market,” Gabourie said. “Her appointment expands our advantage in the territory considerably and will further increase our momentum coming out of a strong 2023 built upon a diverse array of new partnerships and continued collaboration with key platforms.”

Ksadzhikyan added, “Blue Ant Studios is recognized for its remarkable content creation process, its commitment to the producers it collaborates with and its innovative approach to fulfilling its partners’ content requirements. I am thrilled to join this exceptional team and continue to meet the growing demand for Blue Ant’s content.”

This comes as Blue Ant Media scored several U.S. sales deals, among them an agreement that will see Blue Ant Media and A+E Networks co-produce a fourth season of Lakefront Luxury for A&E’s Home.Made.Nation block. The pay-TV channel FUSE picked up the docuseries Bollywed, and BBC Select licensed a number of history documentaries, including Bettany Hughes’ Grand Tour: From Paris to Rome, Brunel: Building A Great Britain, In Curse of the Ancients and Who Sank The Titanic. QVC+ acquired a block of culinary programming from David Rocco, including David Rocco’s Dolce Homemade, David Rocco’s Dolce Italia and David Rocco’s Dolce Southeast Asia.

Also among the new sales, Aeroverse picked up The Dambusters, Silver Spitfire: The Longest Flight and Warbird Workshop. EarthX Media acquired Hope for Wildlife, Australia on Fire: Climate Emergency and Secrets of the Mega Landfill. Curiosity Stream licensed JFK: The Final Evidence. True Royalty TV picked up a package of seven titles, including Born To Be King, A Grand Royal Design, Andrew & Fergie: Duke and Duchess of Disaster, Philip: King Without a Crown, Rebel Without a Crown and William & Kate: Future King and Queen. Buddi acquired ER Vets, For the Love of Elephants and Panda Nursery.
