Blue Ant Media has greenlit three new series for its Canadian specialty TV networks T+E and Cottage Life and its global FAST channels HauntTV and Total Crime.

Among the new titles is Haunted by History (w.t.), which sees paranormal investigators Corine Carey, Leanne Sallenback and Kelly Ireland travel across North America to hear people’s terrifying ghost experiences and uncover the meaning and history behind the hauntings. It is slated to premiere later this year on T+E in Canada and HauntTV in the U.S., the U.K. and Australia.

The two-part series A Secret to Die For, greenlit for T+E in Canada and Total Crime in the U.S., investigates how a person’s secret life can end up costing them their own. Featuring interviews with family and friends, it weaves together a story of a seemingly successful and happy individual whose dark past made them the perfect murder victim.

Secrets in the Sand, for Cottage Life in Canada, examines curiosities that were once concealed in the deserts of the planet, from lost ancient cities to mysterious geological formations. It utilizes CGI, stock and archival footage and expert testimony to expose their secrets.

“Our latest slate, featuring mystery, crime and paranormal series, reinforces our ongoing commitment to bring original and exclusive series to not just our Canadian specialty channels but now our expanding lineup of free streaming channels around the world,” said Carlyn Staudt, general manager of Love Nature and head of commissioning for global media at Blue Ant Media.
