Blue Ant International Appoints VP of International Sales

Blue Ant International has appointed Maria Ibarra to the role of VP of international sales and has made additional sales executive promotions.

As VP of international sales, Ibarra will be responsible for overseeing presales and content licensing across the U.S. Hispanic, Latin America and Iberia regions. She brings two decades of experience in international TV distribution, programming, production and business development.

Ibarra was most recently director of international program sales for Latin America and Canada at ViacomCBS Networks International, in which she was responsible for multiplatform deals. In her new role, she will report to Solange Atwood, executive VP.

In addition to hiring Ibarra, Blue Ant International has promoted Nick Solowski to senior director of international sales and acquisitions and Fleur Wheatley to director of international sales and acquisitions. Solowski will oversee presales and licensing across Canada, Asia Pacific and ancillary rights. Fleur Wheatley will oversee Benelux, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Africa, Greece and Israel.
