Ben Stiller Directing Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost for Apple TV+

Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost, a feature documentary about Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara directed by Ben Stiller (Severance, Escape at Dannemora), is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on October 24.

“I feel very fortunate to be partnering once again with the incredible team at Apple TV+, this time on a project that is very personal to me and my family,” Ben said. “It’s exciting to finally get to share it with audiences, and a great honor to celebrate my parents, both as I knew them growing up, and as I’ve come to know them in new ways through the making of this film.”

In the documentary, Ben tells the story of his parents, exploring their impact on pop culture and in the home, where the lines between creativity, family, life and art were often blurred. Ben turns the camera on himself and his family to examine Jerry and Anne’s influence on their lives.

Prior to bowing on Apple TV+, the film will premiere in select theaters on October 17.

Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost is produced by Ben, John Lesher (Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Severance), Geoffrey Richman (Severance, Tiger King) and Lizz Morhaim (The Super Models, Rebuilding Paradise). Bryn Mooser (Lifeboat, They Call Me Magic), Justin Lacob (Free Leonard Peltier, The Lionheart) and Kathryn Everett (Daughters, Lakota Nation vs. the United States) executive produce, with Matthew Cherchio (Diane Warren: Relentless) serving as supervising producer for XTR. Tony Hsieh and Andy Hsieh also executive produce.
