The series addresses the global issue of water scarcity through the stories of people who have been working to preserve and discover sources of water, including engineers, farmers, agronomists, mayors, entrepreneurs and members of NGOs.

The Water Guardians has been picked up by Radio-Canada and Planète+ in French-speaking Canada, RTP2 in Portugal, EITB and TV3 in Spain and RTBF in Belgium.

The docuseries, produced by j2f Production and LSD Films for Canal+, is directed by Cedric Leprettre, Basile Roze, Cyril Denvers and Emmanuel Corre and written by Denvers and Candice Souillac. Recently, it won the Prince Rainier III Special Prize at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.

The Water Guardians is a compelling documentary series highlighting the important work these individuals are doing every single day in preserving our planet,” said Laurent Boissel and Emmanuelle Guilbart, joint-CEOs and co-founders of APC. “We are delighted to be bringing these vital stories to more audiences internationally, who are sure to be fascinated and driven to make a difference however they can.”
