all3media international Sends Monty Don Special & More to Canada

all3media international has notched up a host of deals for its factual titles, including Monty Don’s Paradise Gardens and The Undateables, across Canada.

TVO picked up Blink Films’ brand-new factual-entertainment special Monty Don’s Paradise Gardens, which sees the titular garden expert set off on a journey to discover how different cultures and climates have influenced garden design. The two-part special was also acquired by Knowledge Network, which went for Lion TV’s one-hour documentary feature Julius Caesar with Mary Beard (working title) and the latest season of the BBC’s Fake or Fortune as well.

Canal Evasion scooped up seasons four and five of the French adaptation of the Studio Lambert format Be My Guest (produced by Coyote) for French-speaking Canada. It also picked up season one of Nine Network’s Travel Guides (Australia). TVA secured seasons six and seven of The Undateables (betty) to air on specialty channel Moi&Cie.

Additionally, Societe Radio Canada acquired The Truth About Sleep (Lion Television). Specialist SVOD service Hortus TV snapped up a package of garden-themed content that includes season two of The Autistic Gardener and season three of Big Dreams, Small Spaces, as well as the second season of Garden RescueKew on a PlateLove Your Home and GardenMonty Don’s Paradise Gardens and Titchmarsh on Capability Brown.
