Thailand’s TrueVisions has picked up television rights to more than 50 hours of factual-entertainment programming from all3media international.

The deal includes two one-hour BBC specials: The Sticky Truth About Sugar (Maverick TV) and The Truth About Your Teeth (Raw TV). This acquisition in Thailand is the latest deal in Asia for these specials following their broadcast in Taiwan, Hong Kong and across the region through a pan-territory deal with the BBC.

TrueVisions’ acquisition also includes two seasons of Studio Lambert’s Body Fixers, a spinoff of Tattoo Fixers that features beauty and style fails being fixed in a pop-up beauty parlor. Season one of Gordon Ramsay’s The F Word and three seasons of his Hotel Hell series are a part of the agreement as well.

Amreet Chahal, sales manager for the Asia-Pacific region at all3media international, said: “Factual entertainment content continues to be a strong driver of our business in Asia–and I’m delighted to partner with the team at TrueVisions on this new deal. The BBC specials acquired have already proved very popular in other territories in Asia and, similarly, our Gordon Ramsay portfolio is a well-established success across the region. I’m confident these intriguing and entertaining health-themed specials and series will continue that trend with viewers in Thailand, and am also very pleased to introduce TrueVisions’ audience to Gordon Ramsay’s inimitable style.”
