All3Media International Pacts with STARZ for Ghislaine Maxwell Doc

All3Media International has signed a U.S. co-production rights deal with STARZ for the two-part documentary Ghislaine Maxwell: Life on Trial.

Ghislaine Maxwell: Life on Trial, which All3Media International is distributing following its first collaboration with Roast Beef Productions, will air on STARZ in the U.S. It is slated to debut on Channel 4 in the U.K. after the conclusion of Maxwell’s trial, anticipated in early 2022.

The two-parter is also now set to air in Latin America, as HBO Latin America has picked up pan-regional rights, and in Australia following a deal with Network Ten. This adds to deals concluded throughout Europe with DR (Denmark), NRK (Norway), SVT (Sweden) and VRT (Flemish Belgium).

Ghislaine Maxwell: Life on Trial is directed by Erica Gornall (Saudi Women’s Driving School).

Sally Habbershaw, executive VP for the Americas at All3Media International, said: “Set to be must-see viewing around the world, Ghislaine Maxwell: Life on Trial is one of our most in-demand documentaries right now, and we are delighted to mark our co-production partnership in the U.S. STARZ is the perfect home and partner for this premium special, ensuring that U.S. audiences can witness this gripping, evolving and in-depth insight into the woman at the center of one of the world’s biggest scandals. “

Rachel Job, senior VP of non-scripted, added: “The number of deals already signed in key territories is testament to the film’s impeccable quality and impressive credentials, and it’s a privilege to work with Roast Beef Productions in bringing it to a global audience. This is first in our strategy to build a premium factual co-production slate in the U.S.”
