A&E Network has ordered ten additional episodes of the new series Live Rescue, which will bring its first-season total to 19 episodes.

The live original documentary series follows first responders from around the U.S. as they respond to emergency rescue calls, putting their lives on the line in the process. Live Rescue is hosted by journalist Ashleigh Banfield and features analysis from first responders who represent departments across the country. Produced by Big Fish Entertainment, the series airs on Monday nights at 9 p.m.

Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive VP and head of programming at A&E Network, said: “The initial response by viewers to Live Rescue has been extremely rewarding. This is a challenging show to produce, but our incredible partners at Big Fish have once again made it possible for viewers across the country to see the work of first responders and the challenges they face every day in real-time through this groundbreaking series.”
