ABC News Studios’ documentary Aaron Carter: The Little Prince of Pop, detailing the life of the titular celebrity, has begun streaming on Hulu.

Carter was a mainstay of the early 2000s pop scene and toured the world as a solo artist with songs such as “I Want Candy.” Just a few years after his rise to fame, however, he began to struggle with his mental health, experienced family turmoil and grappled with addiction, eventually resulting in his November 2022 death.

The documentary features interviews with those closest to him, including AJ McLean, a member of the Backstreet Boys who knew Carter since his childhood; Melanie Martin, Carter’s fiancée and mother of his son; Taylor Helgeson, Carter’s best friend and manager; Dr. Travis Stork, former host of The Doctors, who tried to help Carter with his addiction; Christy Carlson Romano, former Disney Channel child star; Phil Lobel, Carter’s former publicist; and more.
