SINGAPORE: Bomanbridge Media has sold the home-improvement titles Disaster DIY and Open House Overhaul into Asia.

Times Group India has acquired the 26×30-minute series Disaster DIY. The show follows people who have failed at their do-it-yourself home-renovation projects and need on-the-job training from contractor Bryan Baeumler.

Meanwhile, LiTV SE has picked up Open House Overhaul for pan-regional distribution in Asia. The series follows Samantha Pynn, a self-proclaimed open-house junkie and designer who hits up open houses on the weekends and offers to overhaul homes that are up for sale to increase their market value before their next open house.

Sonia Fleck, the CEO of Bomanbridge Media, said: “Bomanbridge is a well-known distributor of premium factual-entertainment programming in the Asian region. We are pleased to bring two entertaining and educational home-improvement shows to air. Strong character-led series can give channels real brand identity as well as offer effective advertising opportunities. Asia's real-estate boom is quite extraordinary, so these DIY series are perfect for the region.”
