Corus Greenlights New Original Content

Corus has greenlit new and returning series for the Home Network, the Flavour Network and The HISTORY Channel.

“As home to Canada’s leading lifestyle and factual specialty networks, Corus continues to invest in purposeful commissions that audiences want while delivering meaningful value for advertisers,” said Jennifer Abrams, senior VP of content and marketing.

New additions to the Home Network include new series Life is Messy, Property Pursuit, season two of Beer Budget Reno, House of Ali season two and Rock Solid Builds season four.

The Flavour Network welcomes standout acquisition titles Kitchen Nightmares, Halloween Bakeshop, Top Chef Canada, Big Burger Battle and Holiday Bakeshop.

The History Channel will premiere new series Toronto Airport Uncovered and Countdown to Zero Hour.

“This strategy is working: with a mix of new and established talent, and series concepts beloved by Canadians, Corus’ lifestyle services are firmly in the Top 20, with Home and Flavour ranking as the number one and number two lifestyle networks in Canada,” continued Abrams. “Alongside that domestic success, Corus Studios’ catalogue of premium content is in high demand internationally, supported by an ever-expanding group of global partners.”
