Naked Lands Triple Royal Documentary Commission

5 has ordered three royal documentaries from Naked, a Fremantle label, and Krempelwood.

The titles ordered are Camilla: Of the People for the People (w.t.), Elizabeth and Philip: A Royal Fairytale (w.t.) and Fergie and the Fake Sheikh Scandal, which airs January 17.

Camilla: Of the People for the People (w.t.) delves into the rise in popularity of Queen Camilla, the enduring relationship between Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, and the shocking scandal engulfing Sarah Ferguson and the notorious ‘Fake Sheikh’.

Elizabeth and Philip: A Royal Fairytale (w.t.) will examine the love story between Queen Elizabeth II and her husband of 73 years, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

The documentary Fergie and the Fake Sheikh Scandal delves into the allegations made in an undercover film of Mazher Mahmood posing as the notorious ‘Fake Sheikh’, in which it appeared that the former Duchess of York was allegedly offering access to the former Prince Andrew in exchange for £500,000.

“We’re delighted to be producing three new royal documentaries for 5,” said Nicola Lloyd, creative director of Naked and executive producer. “The Royal Family has long captivated audiences not just in the U.K. but across the globe, and these films explore their stories in a way that’s both revealing and richly entertaining.”
