Naked West Producing New Series for Quest

Naked West, a Fremantle label, has begun production on Francis Bourgeois and Chris Harris: We Saved a Train (w.t.), which will stream on Quest in 2026.

The eight-part series, distributed by Fremantle, will see mechanical engineer and train enthusiast Francis Bourgeois and his friend Chris Harris embark on a journey to restore a train and get it back in action.

Naked West’s John Comerford is an executive producer for the series, while Rob New serves as series producer. It was commissioned by Graham Lafferty, senior VP of content strategy and networks for Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland.

“Getting the chance to restore a locomotive is something I have always dreamt about, so the opportunity to actually make it happen—and document the journey—is so exciting,” Bourgeois said. “I cannot wait to start this alongside Chris.”

“I have no idea what we are letting ourselves in for, but I am so excited for it,” Harris commented. “It is not every day you get asked to help restore a locomotive. I can’t wait to see where this will take us.”

Tom O’Brien, managing director of Naked, added, “We Saved a Train blends the highs, lows and laughs of a buddy movie with a tenderly and lovingly committed railway restoration process. We will do all we can to make it a standout series, and we are really thrilled to be working with the WBD team in the U.K. on our first big project together.”
