Cineflix Rights Closes Deals for Factual Content

Cineflix Rights has closed a host of international deals across the history and reality genres.

Among them are three programs from Pernel Media, including Alexander the Great: Legendary Conqueror, which was licensed to Viasat World for Viasat History across CEE and Scandinavia, RTL in Germany, ZDF in Germany, SBS in Australia and Hearst Networks in Turkey and the Middle East.

Pernel Media’s Vikings: The Empire of the North Sea was sold to Viasat World for Viasat History across CEE and Scandinavia, ZDF in Germany, Disney in Benelux, Yle in Finland and SBS in Australia. The series has also sold to Movistar in Spain.

Ramses The Great: King of Ancient Egypt, also from Pernel Media, was picked up by ZDF in Germany, DRTV in Denmark and Discovery in Iberia.

Cineflix Rights also secured sales deals for Shark Teeth Films’ Vanished History with Foxtel in Australia, RTL in Germany, Mediaset in Italy, Discovery in Iberia and Hearst Networks in Benelux and Africa.

Galaxie Presse’s Commando Missions went to SBS in Australia, Société Radio-Canada (SRC) in French Canada, Foxtel in Australia and Creo in South Korea.

Lastly, McAvoy Media’s Cape Carnage: Killer Catch was acquired by National Geographic Channel in the U.S. and Viasat World for Scandinavia and Central and Eastern Europe.
