Hulu Lines Up Ruby Franke Docuseries

Hulu has lined up the docuseries Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke, about the arrest of popular vlogger Ruby Franke for child abuse.

For years, the Franke family’s YouTube channel documented a wholesome family life and amassed 2.5 million subscribers at its peak. When they turned to Mormon family counselor Jodi Hildebrandt for guidance, things slowly went downhill, eventually culminating in Ruby’s arrest in August 2023 for abuse of her two youngest children. This series marks the first time Shari and Chad, the Frankes’ eldest adult children, and Kevin, Ruby’s husband, share their story in depth on camera.

Through exclusive access to the Frankes, their friends and neighbors and over a thousand hours of their YouTube channel’s unseen footage, the series aims to cut through the social media reaction to explore the full story.

Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke is directed by Olly Lambert and produced by Passion Pictures. It is set to bow on Hulu on February 27.
